Kiddush Cup is for for Friday Shabbat. Created for the Jewish Shabbat, holidays and celebrations, this sweetly simple Kiddush Cup wine glass begins with a traditional blue glass. The "Pri HaGafen" blessing (the blessing over wine) is permanently etched onto the wine glass, next to a dove in flight. A silver chain - from which a menorah, dove and star of David charms hang - is gracefully draped across the wine glass and attached to a glass loop.
The Asta designs are carefully applied to each glass by hand and the glass is finished in the studio near San Francisco. Each wine glass is the creation of artist Kathryn Gooding. |
